 The Ford Center for Reading specializes in innovative thinking. We wonder why so many American children are behind in basic skills when our society has the research to inform effective instruction. As a nation, we are slow moving to put research into practice-and our children suffer for it.
 The Ford Center for Reading is out to make a difference. We lead the way in closing the research to practice gap that exists in nearly all other learning environments. We take what scientists know about brain-based learning, put it to work for you, and do it right from the beginning.
At Boot Camp, our mission is simple: establish a solid foundation of skills in your child for independent, efficient, and successful life-long learning. In order to achieve this, our specialist task force heads right to the root of the problem and treats it from the ground up.
